A Memorable Day of Celebrations and Unexpected Adventures

Recently, we had the incredible opportunity to celebrate Edwin’s outstanding grades and treat him to a day filled with delicious food and exciting activities. Little did we know that this day would turn into a series of unexpected events, making it truly unforgettable.

Locked Out:
As fate would have it, while we were enjoying our day out, Ezekiel accidentally locked both sets of keys inside the car. Panic ensued as we found ourselves stranded in the parking lot, wondering how we would resolve this predicament. However, what happened next restored our faith in humanity.

A Community Coming Together:
Word of our unfortunate situation spread like wildfire, and to our surprise, a crowd of helpful individuals gathered around us, offering their assistance. From security guards to store managers, police officers to military personnel, everyone was eager to lend a hand. It was heartwarming to witness the kindness and unity displayed by these strangers.

Hours of Effort:
Despite the collective efforts of the crowd, it took a grueling two hours before we finally managed to gain access to the car. The determination and perseverance shown by everyone involved were truly commendable. We couldn’t help but feel grateful for their unwavering support throughout the ordeal.

Finally got in:
Just when we were starting to lose hope, a kind lady approached us, claiming to know someone who could help. Without hesitation, she made a phone call, and within 15 minutes, a skilled individual arrived at the scene. We couldn’t help but express our gratitude to this stranger who came to our rescue. It felt like a miracle, and we couldn’t help but attribute it to a higher power.

Amidst Tensions:
As the elections drew nearer, tensions in the area were running high. This morning, we were startled by the distant sound of machine guns firing. It was undoubtedly unsettling, but we found solace in the belief that God was watching over us, keeping us safe during these challenging times.

A Day of Blessings:
Despite the unexpected challenges and unsettling events, our day was not without its blessings. On Sunday, we had the privilege of attending Jordan Church, where we witnessed the ordination of the Pastor and our Home Missions Director, John Konam. It was a testament to the fact that God’s work was unfolding before our eyes, and great things were happening in PNG.
