Our Bible College Construction is Underway!

We are thrilled to share that the building process for our Bible College has begun! After tearing down our old conference center in May 2021, we put our trust in God to make a way for the new college. And now, progress is being made!

We have started clearing the land and purchasing the necessary materials. Lord willing, we aim to have the framework and roof completed before September, which means we can host our 2022 National Conference under the new Bible College roof. During our Deputation, we will be actively raising funds for the completion of the college.

This journey towards establishing a Bible College in PNG has had its fair share of obstacles. The Price family initiated the idea in 1994, followed by the Barnett family in 2001. Unfortunately, circumstances prevented the college from being started or built. When we arrived in 2019, the training center we had inherited became too risky, leading us to tear it down in faith.

But now, in 2022, we have a renewed vision and are excited to announce that the process of building the Bible College has finally begun!

Now, let’s address a significant obstacle we face as missionaries: Immigration. This week, we discovered that Ezekiel’s visa will expire on his 18th birthday, separate from the rest of our visas expiring in September. To ensure Ezekiel can stay in PNG until we all return together, we are working on an extension through PNG Immigration for an additional 90 days. We have already purchased non-refundable tickets for September, so we are praying for favor with PNG Immigration to grant Ezekiel’s stay.
