Exciting Updates from PNG and the South Pacific!

Silas, our newest member at headquarters, is settling in well and enjoying his time here. We converted my office into a bedroom for him, giving him his own space. It’s been working out great! Last Sunday, we had a fantastic service at Anglimp Outreach. Silas had the opportunity to greet the church for the first time, with Ezekiel interpreting for him. It was an amazing experience!

However, this week, election activities have been postponed due to riots in the Western Highlands. The situation is quite tense, and we’re staying close to home, keeping safe and praying for peace. Unfortunately, seven people were shot on Monday, and we fear the numbers may rise.

On my latest podcast episode (link at the top of the page), I shared some exciting news about the progress in PNG, Solomon Islands, and Fiji. Bro Sio recently conducted a home Bible study with a man who turned out to be the owner of a nightclub. This man decided to close the club and donated it to the ALJC. Now, two services have already been held there!

In the second week, another man attended the service and felt convicted. Bro Sio baptized him in the name of Jesus Christ, only to discover that he was a pastor himself. This pastor recognized the truth and has since baptized his entire congregation in the name of Jesus Christ. He also donated his church to the ALJC! Two churches in just two weeks!

During our conference in Fiji, we were honored to have 13 guest ministers who expressed their desire to join the ALJC. These ministers are currently the only members of their organization and are seeking more guidance. We’re in discussions about the next steps to make it happen. With these additional 10 churches, the work in Fiji will double in size!

We are incredibly grateful for the revival that God has poured out on the South Pacific. Thank you all for your continued prayers and support.

Bro Marshall
