Reflecting on Powerful Church Services and the Promises of God

Introduction:
Last week was filled with incredible church services and meaningful fellowship as we traveled from Indiana to South Carolina and North Carolina. In this blog post, we want to share our experiences and remind ourselves of the promises of God that are still relevant today.

Service at Redeemer Pentecostal Church in Darlington, SC:
We had the privilege of attending a service with Pastor and Sis Carroll at Redeemer Pentecostal Church. The service was uplifting, and we enjoyed wonderful fellowship. We stayed at the church from Wednesday to Friday, allowing us to fully immerse ourselves in the experience. However, we encountered a couple of unexpected detours during our journey, which added three hours to our travel time. If you’re planning a trip from Indiana to South Carolina, be sure to account for potential delays.

Calvary Pentecostal Church in Asheboro, NC:
We spent the weekend at Calvary Pentecostal Church in Asheboro, NC, and it was an amazing time. We extend our gratitude to the Stacy and Jamie Garnett family for their warm hospitality and accommodations. The service at Calvary Pentecostal Church was truly inspiring, and we’re leaving with a sense of fulfillment. Tomorrow, we head to Lexington, South Carolina, for our final scheduled deputation service of this term.

Pentecostal Lighthouse in Wilson, NC:
On Sunday afternoon, we had the privilege of attending the Pentecostal Lighthouse with the Shawn and Beth Garnett family in Wilson, NC. It was a joy to see our dear friends, Paul and Shannon Macklin, who attend Brother Garnett’s church. Brother Macklin serves as the World Missions Director for this district. We were also delighted to meet the Fontenot family, who traveled from Virginia to join us in worship. The service was filled with powerful worship, and God moved mightily, delivering, filling, and healing during the service. Truly, God is good!

Remembering the Promises of God:
Sometimes, we focus so much on what God used to do that we forget what He can still do today. Hebrews 13:8 reminds us that Jesus Christ remains the same yesterday, today, and forever. If He hasn’t changed, then the great things He used to do, He can still do today. We must not lose faith or try to fix everything on our own. John 14:12 assures us that those who believe in Jesus will do the works He did and even greater works. We have the power to overcome any challenge, yet we often seek solutions elsewhere. Let us shift our focus to the promises of God and trust that He is still able.

Conclusion:
Our recent church services and experiences have reminded us of the power and faithfulness of God. As we reflect on the incredible worship, fellowship, and the promises of God, we encourage you to remember that He is still able to do great things. Instead of dwelling on what He used to do, let’s place our faith in Him and witness the miracles He can perform in our lives today.

Stay blessed,

Bro. Marshall
